Joso aquaculture plan moved to Kandayama; land acquired
The land-based aquaculture business planned in Joso City will now be run in Kandayama, combined with employment support and farming on the acquired land.
The concept is based on one mushroom house and 15 Momotaro Salmon tanks; we will check the original materials and site conditions.
We will study work, processing and management functions, support spaces and housing. Employment support will be unified as Type A.
We will clarify how production and welfare services are divided, who is in charge, and management responsibility.
Including support for farmers and open-field growing, we will study linking local resources with production and sales.
Income from farm and fish sales and from welfare services is separated, and staffing and costs set out.
Current progress
The site of the land-based aquaculture business planned in Joso City has moved to Kandayama in Bando City, Ibaraki. Bio Rimotex Inc. has already acquired the Kandayama land. Building the facility and starting operations are future plans.
Output and sales terms are set separately from capacity and support. Wages, support staff and production costs are calculated separately.
The number of tanks, layout and size will be fixed after rechecking the original materials and confirming administrative and site conditions.
