Using Renewable Energy
Introducing natural energy such as solar and geothermal power, the plant generates its own electricity while greatly reducing CO₂ emissions.
HYBRID PLANT / CONCEPT
UN MANSON FFS COMMITTEE JP's own next-generation integrated facility system, combining energy, agriculture and resource circulation. Each element works together organically to realize a circular industrial model with close to zero waste.
VISUAL GUIDE
The Hybrid Plant is a manufacturing business carrying the vision of the Wajima Biomass Power Plant. We create a sustainable future by combining environmental technology with advanced agriculture to take on global challenges. With a focus on energy efficiency and environmental protection, we aim to revitalize local communities and solve food problems.
A hybrid plant is a next-generation production facility that uses renewable energy while integrating land-based aquaculture, hydroponics and the production of high-purity magnesium oxide.
By using natural energy such as solar power and geothermal energy, it keeps energy costs down while greatly reducing CO₂ emissions. Water used for aquaculture and cultivation is reused through advanced filtration technology, making effective use of water resources.
In addition, by using the by-products of magnesium oxide to promote the growth of plants and fish, we have built a fully circular production model. We are also creating jobs and promoting local production for local consumption in partnership with the community, operating a business that is economically, environmentally and socially sustainable. Our hybrid plant is a new infrastructure model that combines food, healthcare and energy.
VISION
The vision of the Hybrid Plant is to take on global challenges and create a sustainable future.
We provide innovative solutions and promote the spread of sustainable agriculture in Japan and around the world.
We deliver real value to our customers, local communities and the global environment, and continue to grow as a global leader.
SUSTAINABILITY
The Hybrid Plant works to reduce environmental impact
and contributes to curbing CO₂ emissions.
Introducing natural energy such as solar and geothermal power, the plant generates its own electricity while greatly reducing CO₂ emissions.
Using magnesium oxide, by-products of aquaculture and cultivation are reused, bringing waste as close to zero as possible in a circular system.
Water used in aquaculture and hydroponics is purified and reused, achieving stable operation while reducing water use.
We employ local people and work with local industries to revitalize the regional economy and make a lasting social contribution.
