How the project works and next steps

Current stage

Received a request to negotiate a sale

  1. 01

    Business to acquire

We plan to acquire the Hanyu greenhouse business run by Toyo Energy Farm.

  2. 02

    Scope

The specific scope of acquisition, such as land, buildings and growing equipment, will be set in individual contracts.

  3. 03

    Production method

We plan to take over a growing base that combines artificial-light seedling production with sunlit greenhouses.

  4. 04

    Production and sales

Assuming lettuce, tomatoes and similar crops, we will confirm crops, planted area, yields, buyers and prices.

  5. 05

    Taking over operations

We will set out the existing growing techniques, the terms for taking over employment and trade contracts, and operating staff.

  6. 06

    Acquisition procedures

We will confirm the acquisition method, handover date, purchase price, rights and the condition of the equipment.

Current progress

The target is the greenhouse business owned and run by Toyo Energy Farm, which has asked its adviser Mr. Morii to negotiate a sale. We plan to proceed with the buyer using the same scheme as the Wajima Biomass Power Plant.

Approach to revenue and costs

We will draw up income and costs from the existing business's results, set out staffing, utilities, materials and maintenance costs, and aim for stable production.
