Received a request to negotiate a sale
We plan to acquire the Yabu greenhouse business run by Toyo Energy Farm.
The greenhouse business is the target. The specific scope, such as land, buildings and growing equipment, will be set in individual contracts.
The Yabu energy plant is not part of the acquisition.
We will confirm crops, planted area, yields, buyers and prices to draw up income and costs.
We will set out growing techniques, the terms for taking over employment and trade contracts, and operating staff.
We will confirm the purchase price, assets and rights, equipment condition, acquisition method and handover date.
Current progress
Toyo Energy Farm has asked its adviser Mr. Morii to negotiate the sale of the greenhouse business it owns and runs. We plan to proceed using the same scheme as in Wajima. The energy plant is not included in the acquisition.
We will set out staffing, utilities, materials and equipment maintenance costs, and plan stable greenhouse production and sales based on the existing business's track record.
This plan shows the policy for acquiring the greenhouse business, not a completed acquisition.
