Negotiating the land sale; awaiting the authorities' decision
Location: 4123 Suzuno, Okobafumoto-machi, Hitoyoshi City. The landowner is FM Clean Co., Ltd., whose representative director is Mr. Toshihiro Morii.
About 20,000 tsubo of completed landfill will be used mainly for farming, with the plant placed on firm ground nearby.
Five units will be housed in an MgO plant building the same size as Kota Town's, surrounded by large greenhouses with rooftop solar panels.
We will introduce moringa cultivation and a biochar system and combine them with solar power on the greenhouse roofs to plan a carbon credit business.
In addition to farming and the plant, a rescue dog facility is being considered. Layout, number of dogs, operator and costs will be decided later.
The owner is Toyo Energy Farm. Mr. Morii also serves as its adviser and is planning the use of the site.
Current progress
Landfilling and management of the final disposal site have ended, and a completion notice has been filed with Hitoyoshi City. We are now awaiting the authorities' decision. Alongside the land sale negotiations, we are planning a project to use the roughly 20,000-tsubo site.
Sales of MgO products and farm produce are estimated separately. The investment amount will be set after checking ground conditions, zone boundaries, conditions for farm use, water supply and drainage, and the layout.
Growing methods, equipment and investment have not been finalized. The image is not a photo of the current Hitoyoshi site.
