How the project works and next steps

Current stage

Reviewing a lease agreement with a purchase option

  1. 01

    Production equipment

Five indoor MgO plants are planned, with production and quality control systems.

  2. 02

    Product and energy

Targeting 99.99% purity, we envision using renewable energy, including solar.

  3. 03

    Surrounding works

The access road will be widened from about 6 m to about 8 m, with safety measures at the entrance.

  4. 04

    Welfare business

Sakurakai will run the nursing home. We will confirm facility conditions, beds, how it will be taken over and the start date.

  5. 05

    Farming and biochar

We plan to introduce moringa cultivation and a system that turns biomass into biochar, and to run a carbon credit business.

  6. 06

    Operating divisions

Responsibility, investment and finances for the manufacturing and care businesses will be clarified and planned separately.

Current progress

We have asked the legal adviser of the landowner, Fu-chan Net Co., Ltd., to prepare a lease agreement with a purchase option, which is under review. The contract is yet to be signed.

Approach to revenue and costs

Income from product sales and from care services is kept separate and estimated after confirming production capacity, sales terms, staffing and facility costs. Carbonization and certification requirements will also be defined.

Items to study and confirm

  • Plant specifications
  • Project costs and quotes
  • Product sales terms
  • Road and land conditions
  • Nursing home facility conditions

Buildings, equipment and layout are concept images. The carbon credit business will proceed after checking the scheme and methodology.
